Ishita S. Bisht
Tabla player and teacher in Noida
- 🇮🇳 Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Noida Heritage Music School
- 1990 to 2015
- English, Spanish
I've played tabla from 1990 to 2015, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 9 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Ishita
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Ishita: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
