Ishita G. Kapoor
Self-taught glass art artist
- 🇮🇳 Thrissur, Kerala, India
- Thrissur Pottery
- Since 2001
- English, Hindi
I work mostly in glass art, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 2001 at Thrissur Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ishita
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Ishita: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
