Ishita B. Dubey
Local thatching and tiling
- 🇮🇳 Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Noida Workshop
- Since 1992
- English, Hindi
I've worked in thatching since 1992. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 710 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Ishita
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Ishita: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
