For 48 years I have been the Spanish teacher at Jaffna Academy. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Ishara
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ishara: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
