Ishara Lakshmi Weerasinghe
Nine years at Willow Creek Reading Room
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Willow Creek Reading Room
- 2013 to 2022
- English, Sinhala
For nine years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Willow Creek Reading Room.
I ran the Saturday reading group and the summer reading challenge. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ishara
If you ever returned a book late to me, you're forgiven.

What gifts mean to Ishara: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
