I taught chemistry and biology at Central Boys' School, New Orleans. I learned every name in the first week.
I ran the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Isaiah
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Isaiah: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
