Coached rugby for 36 years in Sacramento
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- Sacramento Community Club
- Since 1990
- English
For 36 years I've run the rugby program at Sacramento Community Club in Sacramento. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still think about the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Best summer of my life.
