Isaiah C. Fernandez
Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇿 Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand
- Old Hillcrest Trades Guild
- Since 1998
- English
I've worked in shoemaking since 1998. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 590 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
