Isabelle D. Nelson

Oud player and teacher in Dundee

  • 🇬🇧 Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom
  • Dundee Quartet
  • Since 1986
  • English
I play oud and violin. I started in 1986 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 11 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I garden badly but happily. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Isabelle

I write my first song when I was 20. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Isabelle: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
