Isabella Hunter

Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices

🇬🇧 Leeds, England, United Kingdom
The Bamboo Shop
Since 2015
English

I've worked in shoemaking since 2015. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 460 apprentices. The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Isabella

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
