Isabella A. Bates

Teacher at Sakura Girls' School, loves English literature

  • 🇦🇺 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
  • Sakura Girls' School
  • Since 1994
  • English
For 32 years I have been the English literature teacher at Sakura Girls' School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Isabella

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Isabella: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
