Isabel S. Macaraeg
Children's librarian in Manila
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- 1999 to 2019
- English, Filipino
For 20 years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Jacaranda Library.
I played music while people worked. A library should feel like a living room.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Isabel
I still remember the favorites of every regular.

What gifts mean to Isabel: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
