I spent 35 years as a lecturer in linguistics at Maple Ridge Institute of Technology in Sacramento. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a bank clerk and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Isabel: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
