For nine years I was the English literature teacher at Bucaramanga Secondary School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Isabel
If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

What gifts mean to Isabel: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
