Isabel K. Ramírez
Painter, potter and teacher at Anaheim Pottery
- 🇺🇸 Anaheim, California, United States
- 1992 to 2018
- English
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 1992 at Anaheim Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Isabel
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Isabel: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
