Isabel B. Mercado
38 years teaching home economics in Manila
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Manila Middle School
- Since 1988
- English
For 38 years I have been the home economics teacher at Manila Middle School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Isabel
If you were in my primary school children class, you probably remember that terrible school play.

I was in your primary school children class in 1994. You believed I could do it before I did. Thank you again.

You taught me home economics in 2012 at Manila Middle School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
