I taught social studies at Baobab Boys' School in Kharkiv from 1996 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I learned every name in the first week.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
More about Iryna
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
