I've coached softball at Atlas Youth Club since 1993. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
What gifts mean to Iryna: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
