I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 540 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Iryna
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Iryna: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
