Iryna Iryna Orlov
16 years teaching geography in Moscow
- 🇷🇺 Moscow, Moscow, Russia
- Hope Public School
- Since 2004
- English, Ukrainian
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Iryna
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Iryna: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me geography in 2005 at Hope Public School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

I failed geography twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Iztapalapa.
