Irmak Ünal
Professor of organic chemistry, Atlas College
- 🇹🇷 Bornova, İzmir, Türkiye
- Atlas College
- Since 1994
- English, Turkish
My subject is organic chemistry, and for 32 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Atlas College.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Irmak
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Irmak: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
