Irmak Sibel Kaplan
Traditional drumming and tabla teacher
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Istanbul Gateway Music School
- 2010 to 2025
- English
I've played traditional drumming from 2010 to 2025, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 12 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Irmak
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Irmak: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
