Irmak Kaplan
Mentor in writing and leadership
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- 1993 to 2002
- English, Turkish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 220 people through Elmwood Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Irmak: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
