Irmak Erdem
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇷 Kadıköy, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Kadıköy Works
- Since 1987
- English, Turkish
I've worked in plumbing since 1987. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,640 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Irmak
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Irmak: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
