Irma Utami Hartono
29 years teaching home economics in Jakarta Selatan
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Selatan High School
- 1994 to 2020
- English
For 26 years I was the home economics teacher at Jakarta Selatan High School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Irma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Irma: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
