Irma Rahayu Gunawan

Youth rowing coach and mentor

  • 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
  • Jakarta Highland Community Club
  • Since 2002
  • English, French
I've coached rowing at Jakarta Highland Community Club since 2002. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Irma

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Irma: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
