I taught history at Elmwood Girls' School in Yekaterinburg from 2003 to 2023. Most days I taught first-year students, and my door was open at lunch.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Irina
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Irina: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
