I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Irina
If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
What gifts mean to Irina: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
