For 17 years I ran the softball program at Kharkiv Youth Club in Kharkiv. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Irina
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Irina: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
