Iresha Rasika Perera

Retired statistics teacher from St. Mary's Public School

🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
St. Mary's Public School
2006 to 2025
English, Sinhala

I taught statistics and religious studies at St. Mary's Public School, Colombo. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. Over the years I had 570 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Iresha

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

Subjects taught

Statistics Religious studies

What gifts mean to Iresha: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
