Taught religious studies at Highland High School

I taught religious studies at Highland High School in Los Angeles from 2008 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 510 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Irene
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me religious studies in 2010 at Highland High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Thank you again.

You taught me religious studies in 2009 at Highland High School. I still remember that terrible school play.
