Irene Nancy Barasa
Retired drama teacher from Dar es Salaam Secondary School
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- 1998 to 2019
- English, Spanish
Dar es Salaam Secondary School was my second home. I taught drama there from 1998 to 2019, mostly Grade 11.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Irene
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Irene: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
