Irene Margaret Maina

Teacher at Good Shepherd Primary School, loves special education

  • 🇰🇪 Naivasha, Nakuru, Kenya
  • 2009 to 2019
  • English, Swahili
I taught special education at Good Shepherd Primary School in Naivasha from 2009 to 2019. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. Over the years I had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Irene

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Irene: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
