Irene Lilian Mwangi
Coached hockey for 44 years in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Gateway Sports Club
- Since 1982
- English
I've coached hockey at Gateway Sports Club since 1982. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
