I teach environmental science at Winston-Salem Academy in Winston-Salem since 1980. Most days I teach primary school children, and I never raise my voice.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Irene
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
