I've been a nurse for 41 years, most of them in community health at San Nicolás de los Garza Community Hospital in San Nicolás de los Garza. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
