For 44 years I've run the netball program at Heritage Athletic Club in Bakersfield. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Irene: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
