Irene D. Valdez

33 years teaching agriculture in Palmira

🇨🇴 Palmira, Valle del Cauca, Colombia
Kingsway Primary School
Since 1978
English, Spanish

Kingsway Primary School is my second home. I teach agriculture there since 1978, mostly primary school children. Over the years I've had 2,880 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

More about Irene

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Agriculture History

What gifts mean to Irene: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
