Irene D. Lara
Geography and environmental science teacher, Macon
- 🇺🇸 Macon, Georgia, United States
- Macon Middle School
- 1978 to 1991
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Irene
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me geography in 2000 at Macon Middle School. I still remember that terrible school play.
