Irene Atieno Okello
Biology and Spanish teacher, Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Since 1997
- English, Swahili
I teach biology and Spanish at Northside Boys' School, Nairobi. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Irene
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Irene: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me biology in 2025 at Northside Boys' School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

You taught me biology in 2023 at Northside Boys' School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
