Irene Anyango Barasa
Computer science and chemistry teacher, Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani High School
- Since 2012
- English, Swahili
Kasarani High School is my second home. I teach computer science there since 2012, mostly Grade 11.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Irene
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Irene: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me computer science in 2022 at Kasarani High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Greetings from Syracuse.
