Irene Akello Mbwambo
Mural painting artist in Kisumu
- 🇰🇪 Kisumu, Kisumu, Kenya
- Since 1988
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1988 at Old Kisumu Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I answer every message, eventually. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Irene
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Irene: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
