Irene Adjei
Tabla player and teacher in Tarkwa
- 🇬🇭 Tarkwa, Western, Ghana
- Tarkwa Choir
- 1984 to 2016
- English, Twi
I've played tabla from 1984 to 2016, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Irene: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
