İpek Yasemin Taş
Computer science teacher at Trinity Secondary School, 1982 to 2011

I taught computer science at Trinity Secondary School in Istanbul from 1982 to 2011. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about İpek
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
