İpek Selin Aydın
Writing mentor, Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Istanbul Foundation
- 1998 to 2008
- English, Turkish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 440 people through Istanbul Foundation.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about İpek
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to İpek: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
