Intan Maya Tan

Physical education and French teacher, Jakarta

  • 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
  • Central Boys' School
  • Since 1994
  • English
For 32 years I have been the physical education teacher at Central Boys' School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Intan

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
