I coached softball at Beacon Athletic Club from 1987 to 2012. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I watch every football match going.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
