I've spent 31 years as a lecturer in literature at Nijmegen Polytechnic in Nijmegen. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Ingrid
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Ingrid: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
