I've coached rowing at Londrina Boxing Gym since 2002. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Ingrid: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
