For 14 years I was the special education teacher at Rio de Janeiro Public School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 270 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

I was in your the final-year class class in 1997. You believed I could do it before I did. Truly.

You taught me special education in 1991 at Rio de Janeiro Public School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won! Thank you again.
